Our Story

A classic story about two coworkers, an eye infection, and a routine lighthouse trip.

How it all began

Will and Gina met while working together at Goldfish Swim School in Burlington. Their professional relationship lasted about 2 months.

One night, after a particularly germy Goldfish shift, Will found himself unable to open his eye, which was the perfect excuse to ask Gina for a ride to Boston Ear and Eye Emergency. Several hours (and several clutch wingwoman staff members asking if they were dating) later, Will asked Gina to be his girlfriend on the ride home.

And the rest is history

A few years later, after a lovely dinner on the town, Will asked Gina if she wanted to check out the Marblehead Lighthouse, something they ALWAYS (never) did after a nice meal.

Gina detected the proposal incoming, frisked his pockets for a ring, failed to find it, and thankfully said yes.
